The dynamic duo behind Goodtype
After building their own successful art businesses, the two artists connected via DM and joined forces virtually from their homes in New York and Texas. United by a shared passion for empowering artists, Katie and Ilana are on a mission to help creatives pursue their dreams and remove the fear from navigating the business side of art. They believe everyone deserves to love their work and are committed to inspiring others to make that a reality.

Adobe MAX veteran Tony Harmer, also known as The Design Ninja, is a creative powerhouse with over four decades of experience spanning roles as a press operator, concept artist, and designer/ illustrator. As the Chief Edutainment Officer of DN:TV and a former Specialist Solutions Consultant at Adobe, Tony has trained professionals worldwide in graphic production and animation. His LinkedIn Learning courses have reached over two million learners, and his engaging, humor-filled sessions at Adobe Live and creative events are packed with practical insights, tips, and inspiration.

The Judging Process
Judging takes place remotely in mid-April each year. Each judge will receive a curated selection of student submissions to evaluate based on creativity, effectiveness, and execution. Clear judging guidelines and criteria will be provided to ensure consistency across the board.
